Yes — when you download it as Word, styles, headings, tables, lists, headers, footers, footnotes and images stay in place and only the text changes. Bold or italic words inside a sentence take on the formatting of the start of that sentence.

Privacy & security

Only you. Your text is translated privately on Helium22 infrastructure — never by a third-party translation service — and only you can download your files.

Uploads and translations are deleted automatically after 30 days. You can delete them sooner at any time from My translations, or delete your whole account from Account & security.

No. We never use your content to train or improve translation models, and we never sell or share it.

Two-factor authentication means that even if someone learns your password, they can't sign in without the 6-digit code from your phone. It's set up once, the first time you sign in.

Contact us and an administrator can reset your authenticator. You'll then scan a new QR code at your next sign-in.

A one-time code you're given when your account is created. It lets you reset your password without email. Keep it safe — once used, it's replaced with a new one.

Yes — on the Translate text page you can translate short texts without signing in, after a quick verification question, up to 10 times a day. Documents, longer texts and your translation history need an account.

Go to Account & security → Your data. Deleting your account permanently removes it along with every translation and uploaded file.
