Simple, per-page pricing
Pay only for the pages you translate. Typed text is free, documents are priced by the page —
so a two-page letter never costs the same as a hundred-page manual.
Launch offer: paid plans start soon. Until then, BlueSquark is free to use within the daily limits.
For occasional documents. Top up from £5 of credit (£6 including VAT).

What counts as a page?
One standard page is 250 words — 1,500 characters of text, including spaces.
It's the unit professional translators use, and it's fairer than counting physical pages, which can hold anything from 50 to 900 words.
We count only the text we translate — images, blank space and formatting are free.
Each document is rounded up to whole pages, with a minimum of one.
You'll see the page count before anything is charged.

Documents vary enormously — a two-page letter and a hundred-page manual should not cost the same. Charging per page means you only ever pay for what you translate.
Word documents are rebuilt with their layout intact — styles, tables, headers, footers and images stay exactly where they were. PDFs have their text extracted and are rebuilt as clean documents. Plain text needs neither.
Yes. Typing or pasting text into the translator is free for members within the daily fair-use limit, and visitors can try it 10 times a day without an account.
Plan pages renew each month and do not roll over. If you run out, you can top up with pay-as-you-go credit at the normal per-page rates, or move to a bigger plan.
Yes — plans are monthly (or yearly with 2 months free) and you can cancel at any time; you keep your pages until the end of the period you have paid for.
By card, securely through Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
Yes. Every plan and top-up price includes UK VAT at 20%, so the figure you see is the figure your card is charged. A top-up buys the credit named — £5 of credit costs £6. If you are buying for a business, the receipt and invoice Stripe sends after each payment itemise the VAT separately for your accounts.
A plan or a top-up is yours to use the moment you pay, and the payment is non-refundable once you have used it — a document translated on the plan, or paid for from the credit. If you have not used it, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of paying, from Plan & billing. If you move to a bigger plan, the difference is charged straight away. A translation that fails is never charged.
